March 2002: First polyclonal antibody released by IMGENEX India
June 2004: Moved to a new building leased by Industrial Development Corporation (IDCO), Orissa
December 2005: Inauguration of our new state-of-the-art R&D laboratory by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Hon’ble President of India.
December 2005: First National Symposium organized by IMGENEX India on “Stem Cell: From Laboratory to Treatment of Diseases.”
December 2006: First monoclonal antibody released from IMGENEX India.
January 2007: “26th Annual Convention of Indian Association for Cancer Research” and “International Symposium on Translational Research in Cancer” organized by IMGENEX India.
March 2007: R&D laboratory of IMGENEX India is recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
June 2007: First grant received by IMGENEX India by DBT under SBIRI scheme in collaboration with Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar.
December 2008: R&D laboratory was visited by Prof, Rolf Martin Zinkernagel, Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine in 1996.
June 2009: Indo-Canadian grant awarded to IMGENEX India in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi; Toronto University, Toronto Canada and XPhase Biomedicals, Toronto, Canada.
March 2010: Research grant awarded to IMGENEX India in collaboration with National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar under RGYI scheme.
June 2010: Second SBIRI grant awarded to IMGENEX India.
March 2011: IMGENEX India has bagged the BioSpectrum Asia Pacific Emerging Company of the Year Award 2011.
November 2013: ICMR releases detection kit for mutations in beta-thalassemia manufactured by IMGENEX India.
February 2015: IMGENEX India Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded as an Emerging Company of the Year 2015 under Bio Industrial category in India.
